We have just returned from our 7th trip to India. We are very grateful to the Lord for all of the blessings and miracles we experienced on this last trip and we are grateful to you, our partners, for your prayers and financial help. There is much I want to share with you but for now I’ll just hit the highlights and also share some exciting opportunities for this coming year. 
We held three HIV/AIDS seminars, two for pastors and leaders and one at a youth convention with over 100 youth present. They were very well received. We believe that the Lord has opened this opportunity in the most strategic place and at the most strategic time. India is already experiencing the effects of what is going to be a tragic health disaster. We were told that no one else is teaching HIV/AIDS from a Christian perspective. Our teachers have been asked to return and even teach this in the public schools.
An even greater public health problem in India is the lack of pure drinking water. Over 50,000 children die every year from waterborne disease. Village to Village dedicated its fourth well on this trip and the fifth is now on order.
We had some heart wrenching days visiting 4 very poor and backward villages. We visited many people, some sick with diseases like AIDS and polio. Our team walked the dusty paths of these villages praying for people. One a
t a time, 68 people received Jesus. Everywhere we went we found Hindus and Muslims alike desperate for hope and hungry for the love of a savior.
Our five night Gospel festival was also a huge blessing. In spite of a slow start because of unseasonably cold weather we finished strong with over 2300 decisions for Jesus. All of our goals for this trip were accomplished.
Exciting news for the next trip!
We have just received a commitment for a matching grant of $5000. As soon as we raise $5000 for our next Gospel festival we will be given a matching donation. That means we can plan two gospel festivals this next year and reach twice as many people with the message of the Gospel. We are very excited about this opportunity. Please pray about this with us.
